Yes, Kenny was interviewd by MTV when he went he got off stage, said the guitars were not tuned right, he was rushed on to the stage, in true rock n' roll fashion. If you listen to it, the lead guitar is muted or is tuned very low, so it sounds like a synthesizer only song, along with the base.
